It was a beautiful “birth” day on the Monterey Bay …. celebrating my 51st ….
We dined for breakfast outside on the deck at Zelda’s in Capitola Village and took a casual stroll afterward ….

We enjoyed a terrific prime rib dinner at the Crow’s Nest Restaurant and this evening observed with fascination the annual Christmas Boat Parade. By nightfall the background in the harbor photos above were filled with brilliantly decorated crafts cruising and displaying their holiday creativity with a HUGE crowd of onlookers.
It was a beautiful day on the Monterey Bay.

Dave and Irene, it is so encouraging to see how God continues to work miracles and how He sustains through the times when we no longer think we can go on. I am in awe of the strength that God gives to the two of you daily, and how you both are an inspiration to others. God has two very special people who He is using in very special ways to be a positive influence for Him. I give Him the glory for my recovery and now that I have been allowed to return to work, I praise Him for His sustaining strength. You may rest assured that Elda and I pray for you both, and that God continues to receive the glory for all He does for you.
