Well Wishes From Anna Maynard
Irene ... So sorry to hear about your illness. Hang in there girlfriend. Please know that “Face” (James) and I are praying for you daily.
Do you remember our days at the Probation Department. We had some good times and lots of giggles. I remember when I invitated you to attend the services at First Baptist church and you asked me if they had good music there. Told you it was the best.
When I think of you Irene, the first thing that comes into my mind is your radiant smile and bubbly personality. I don’t think I ever saw you any other way while working with you.
I love you and pray for your recovery.
Anna
Well Wishes From Glenda Lyons
Hi Irene….I just want you to know that Paul and I are thinking and praying for you. Marsha emailed me today about your situation. She sent pictures and your website and I am so thankful that we can keep up with your progress.
We know that God is with you and you feel His comfort. You could not be in better “arms”!
We are doing well in San Diego. We hope to get up to Santa Cruz this summer some time. Our biggest blessing is that we are now grandparents!
God bless you and your lovely family…..
Glenda and Paul Lyons
Well Wishes From Bert

Well Wishes From Jill & Robert Russell
Dear Irene and Dave,
Robert and I were saddened to hear of Irene’s diagnosis and health/treatment challenges. Reading the website offers reassurance that if anyone can overcome what is ahead, it is you two and your girls. Know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

Well Wishes From Mark and Robin Schmidt
Dear Dave & Irene,
You are on all of our hearts and minds each and everyday. God Almighty is hearing a loud chorus from His people coming before His throne intervening on your behalf. We just want to say how much we love you and what a blessing it is to be your friends.

The devotion I shared with my students today was based on Philippians 4:8, Dave and Irene.
Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence, anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.
You both are living examples of this verse. Marsha, Martha, and I enjoyed our visit with you yesterday. May God continue to send reminders of His presence with you and love for you both.
Kent
Well Wishes From The Johnson Family
Dave and Irene:
We are praying for both of you and asking the Lord to heal you and support you. Though we should be the ones encouraging you, we are finding that the reports of your faith in the face of crisis are greatly encouraging us.
Our prayer is that “through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures you might have hope” Romans 15:4

Well Wishes From The Walter Family
We're so sorry to hear of your illness and yet so encouraged by your faith and strength in the Lord. Whether you're proudly watching your daughter sing (so beautifully) or humbly helping Dave with registration at a conference, your joy in the Lord has always radiated, always blessing those around you!
We pray that the Lord would continue to bless your family through you during this time, and that as your faith and confidence in Christ touches those around you they will see a peace and a joy in you that surpasses understanding.
God Bless You,
The Walter Family

Dear Irene:
Bill and I are so sorry to hear you are sick! We know you are in the best hands medically; but more importantly, you are in God’s hands, and we know He is holding you tight!
Know that we are praying for your FULL recovery - and also praying for strength and peace for you and Dave as you go on this journey.
Also, you will be covered in prayer by a group of women who love Walk Thru the Bible and who meet each month to pray for the ministry; plus I’m sending your info to a special group of donors who love to pray for Walk Thru and everyone involved in the ministry.
I hope you will be able to actually “feel” all the prayers being lifted to our Lord for you, and that you will also feel His arms around you, loving you and healing you.
We love you!
Judy & Bill Ginn

You and your family are in my prayers, Irene. Your presence at Monte Vista was like a ray of sunshine touching us all. I’m asking God to supply you with everything you need to get through this challenge successfully. May peace in all of your hearts reign and God’s love wrap around each one of you, keeping you close in His care.
Love, Sue

Irene & Dave:
We’re praying that today will bring good news and the process toward treatment begins.
You are joys in our lives, and it pains us to see you sick. But you are a source of inspiration and encouragement as we see you living out your faith daily.
I know that you honor God with your love and faithfulness for Him and each other and in your testimonies of Him in your daily interactions with the doctors, nurses and staff at UCSF.
We can’t wait to see you again soon.
Bob & Susan
