Hi Dave,

I have been in prayer for your family, and specifically Irene, and you.  I don’t have any smooth clichés to say, nor any profound words of wisdom.  This is an area that only “The Great Comforter” is qualified to work in.  I also pray that “The Great Encourager” will surround you with his Great Spirit.  I am interceding, through Christ, with both of you.  He is “The Vine.” Dave, no matter what happens, in any our lives, this world is not our home.  We all have a mission.  It is all about our faith; our dependency on God, as well as, each other.  I am sorry that I cannot be more of a servant to you at this time.  Please let me know how I can obey Jesus, by “helping you bear your burden.” Thank you for being such a great example of Jesus Christ’s love.

I am reminded of 1 Cor. 2:1-5:

V1 - And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. V2 - For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. V3 - I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. V4 - And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, V5 - that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
